2018 has turned out to be a very good year for funding for the lab! In April, our Welch Foundation grant was renewed for three more years (~$195,000 total) and then in May we were awarded a 3-year, ~$400,000 grant from the Cancer Prevention Research Institute of Texas (CPRIT). And finally, this week we were officially awarded an R35 MIRA grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) for ~$1.8 million over the next 5 years! Now it's time to switch from grant mode to paper mode. Keep your eye out for several exciting upcoming publications!
