With three lab members having April birthdays, we celebrate all month long. As per lab tradition, cakes made an appearance for each birthday celebration. Lili showed off her phenomenally geeky creativity and created a cake for Marella depicting the graphical abstract of our recently submitted paper. She also made an amazingly detailed NMR cake for Dr. Latham, complete with an NMR tube inside the probe! Stephan got a much plainer, but equally delicious chocolate chip chiffon cake from Marella.
