On June 1st, the Latham Lab re-opened for business! We are essentially at half strength, but it still feels amazing to be making samples and collecting new data. We wear face masks all day and keep 6 feet between us as much as possible, sanitizing surfaces and washing our hands throughout the day. The group is split into two teams that alternate two week shifts in the lab with two weeks at home to analyze data, present the new data at group meeting, write, and plan for the next rotation at the bench. So far it has been a fairly smooth transition, though quieter than normal without everyone together.
