One of our former Welch Summer Scholars has joined the lab as an undergraduate researcher. Julie Sang spent six weeks in the lab in the Summer of 2018 collecting data on Rad50 with Zach that will hopefully be published by the end of this year. Since then she has graduated from high school and started as an undergraduate biology major here at Texas Tech. We like to think that working with us again is what ultimately lured her back to west Texas! Here's a throwback picture from Summer 2018:
